ShadyCat Drops is a weekly tracker run by collectors at ShadyCat (eBay store shadycat_toys, X @shadycatX). We cover:

McFarlane DC Multiverse: new releases, preorders, restocks and price drops through the end of the McFarlane DC license (end of 2026).
Mattel DC: the new DC license holder's 6.5-inch figures, from DC Premier to the 2027 collector lines and Mattel Creations exclusives.
1/12 scale: MAFEX (Medicom) and Mezco One:12 Collective drops.
Lakers & Dodgers cards: new products, team checklists and news.

How we check items

Every item links to its source (the retailer's or maker's own page where possible) and shows the date we checked it.
We only list prices we saw on the page. We never estimate prices. "All-in" notes mention shipping and sales tax only where the store states them.
We don't use Amazon links. eBay links are search links for comparing prices, not specific listings.
If we can't verify something, we leave it out.
Yes, the name is a joke: the cat wears sunglasses. The deals are checked and honest.

Figures can carry these scores, always shown apart:

ShadyCat Score (1-10) is our house rating. SK sets it after reviewing what collectors are saying on X and Reddit, weighed with his own judgment. It's an editorial call, not a community average or a poll. When one listing holds more than one figure (like a 2-pack), each figure can get its own score.
SK's Take comes from SK, our collector-in-chief, and nobody else. First Look (from photos) (1-10) is his first impression from official photos or reveals, before he's held the figure. In-Hand (1-10) is his score after handling it, broken into sculpt & paint, articulation, accessories and value for price, plus a one-line take. Until then the card says "Not in hand yet."
We never make up a score. A figure with no score yet simply shows none.
